What I Learned in 2022

- Many hit records of the ’70s and ’80s were recorded at a studio in Morin Heights, north of Montreal. Pilot, the one hit wonder band known for “Magic”, named their second album, “Morin Heights” after the studio where they recorded it. It partially burned down in 2017 and was demolished in 2020.
2. Spain was depicted as a gorilla (or at least neanderthal) in a political cartoon during the Spanish-American War.
3. Honey bees and bumble bees are two distinct species.
4. The courts in Hong Kong are still bilingual (Cantonese and English).
